Cayenne

Cayenne is useful, in either powder or tincture form, for colds, poor circulation, or weak digestion. In hotter climates, the use of cayenne actually helps cool the body by promoting sweating. Cayenne is found in over-the-counter salves or liniments for shingles, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sore muscles. One of its active ingredients, capsaicin, is effective for blocking the transmission of the pain impulse in the body.
