Nervousness



Herbs. For nervousness and anxiety try these relaxing herbs:
  • California poppy root
  • valerian root
  • St. John's wort leaf and flower
  • linden flower
  • passion flower

Herb Formulas. Combine 1 teaspoon each valerian root, hawthorn leaf and flower, California poppy, and kava root in 4 cups water and simmer for 20 minutes. Drink 1 cup of the tea 2 or 3 times daily. Or, mix 1 teaspoon each of the individual tinctures in 1 cup of water and drink 1/2 cup, twice daily.
