Insomnia



Herbs. Try the following relaxing and nerve-tonifying herbs:
  • St. John's wort leaf and flower
  • valerian root
  • california poppy root
  • kava root
  • passion flower leaf
  • reishi mushroom

Herb Formulas. Mix 1 teaspoon each of valerian root, kava root, linden flowers, chamomile flowers, and catnip leaves in 4 cups water and simmer for 20 minutes. Drink 1 cup of the tea 2 or 3 times daily before meals. Or, mix 1 teaspoon each of the individual tinctures in 1 cup of water and drink 1/2 cup, twice daily.
