Cholesterol - High



Herbs. The following herbs can be taken as teas or tablets or added to foods:
  • garlic
  • artichoke leaf
  • shiitake mushroom
  • guggul oleoresin
  • fenugreek seed
  • devil's claw rhizome

Herb Formula. Simmer 1 teaspoon each guggul oloeresin, reishi mushroom, shiitake mushroom, artichoke leaf, ginger rhizome, and fenugreek seed in 4 cups water for 20 minutes. Drink 1 cup of the tea 2 or 3 times daily. Or, mix 1 teaspoon each of the individual tinctures in 1 cup of water and drink 1/2 cup, twice daily.
