Herbs.
  • The immune stimulant, echinacea root.
  • Herbal decongestants, such as eyebright herb and yarrow flowers. Respiratory tract stimulants, such as yerba santa leaf and osha root.
  • The herbal diaphoretic, elder flowers to remove heat from your body. Antiviral herbs, such as lemon balm herb and wild indigo root.

Herb Formula. Combine 1 teaspoon each echinacea root, golden seal root, yerba mansa root, and ginger rhizome in 4 cups of water and simmer for 20 minutes. Drink 1 cup of the tea 2 or 3 times daily. Or, mix 1 teaspoon each of the individual tinctures in 1 cup of water and drink 1/2 cup, twice daily.
