The author, Christopher Hobbs is a 4th generation herbalist and botanist who has been studying, teaching, and writing about herbs for over 25 years. Information in our books is drawn from the author's extensive background with plants; a library of over 3000 volumes, including old and rare herbals; extensive files gathered over 10 years of searching on-line databases; personal clinical experience as well as the experience of other respected herbalists.
